Travel Assistance Service

With each 2Lock purchase you automatically receive our exclusive Travel Assistance Service that is designed to protect you and your luggage.  You must first register at 2Lock.com and follow all procedures in order to receive the 30 day trial of these valuable services.

Travel Assistance Service Details

Travel Medical Assistance

Emergency medical evacuation transportation assistance - If a customer suffers an injury or illness that requires medical treatment or hospitalization, we will coordinate and arrange emergency medical transportation to the nearest most appropriate medical facility. Once the customer is stabilized, Travel Guard Assist coordinates his/her return to a hospital near home.

  • Physician/hospital/dental/vision referrals- The customer will be provided with a list of physicians, dentists and optometrists in the area in which they are traveling.
  • Repatriation of mortal remains – We will arrange for the preparation and air transportation of a traveler’s mortal remains in the event of death while traveling.
  • Emergency prescription replacement - If medications are lost or stolen, we will assist the customer in obtaining new prescriptions and also in shipping to the customer at their current location.
  • Dispatch of doctor or specialist – We will arrange for a medical consultation or doctor visit if the client is unable to visit a doctor.

Worldwide Travel Assistance

Lost baggage search; stolen luggage replacement assistance – We can assist with the return of lost luggage by coordinating efforts with the commercial carrier.  In the event that an item is lost while traveling, we will assist the customer in the search for the lost item. We will coordinate getting the luggage to their current destination or home.

  • Lost passport/travel documents assistance - Travel Guard Assist will assist in the replacement of lost or stolen travel documents, passports or visas.
  • Emergency telephone interpretation assistance - We provide emergency telephone translation services in all major languages and offers referrals to interpreter services.
  • Urgent message relay to family, friends or business associates – We will assist with contacting family or friends in the event of an emergency situation while the customer is traveling
  • Legal referrals/bail bond assistance - We will provide the customer with convenient legal referrals in their general area.

How to Use the Travel Assistance Service


You must register your 2Lock online in order to activate your 30 day FREE Travel Assistance Service.

Click on the Register button and create your personal account with your personal user name and password. We recommend that you register your 2Lock just prior to traveling. You can reactivate our 30 day Travel Assistance Service at any time for additional future travel. We also offer a convenient prepaid yearly travel assistance plan that allows unlimited use of your 2Lock for one full year from the date of re-activation.

Upon Arrival determine if You Have a Problem

Upon arrival examine your luggage, if the Green cable is found in the closed position then your luggage has not been inspected and most likely has not been tampered with. If the Green cable has been cut and the Red cable has been used to relock the luggage, this is evidence that your luggage has been opened and likely inspected by a security agent.  You should open and inspect the luggage and find a notification from the security agency that performed the inspection. If you do not find this notice, you must inspect the content prior to leaving the airport luggage area. If content is missing then simply report it to the airport luggage counter and file your claim.

ALWAYS CHECK THE CONTENT OF YOUR LUGGAGE PRIOR TO LEAVING THE LUGGAGE PICK UP AREA.

 

Delayed or lost luggage

Call our Customer Assistance Service number immediately. You will need to have your claim receipt from your missing luggage and the luggage registration number located on the back of your 2Lock. The unique 2Lock serial number allows airport and airline personnel to report the luggage via our toll free number. Our service personnel will take care of delivering the luggage to your desired location.

Tamper Evidence

If your luggage was selected for manual inspection, you will find that the Green cable of your 2Lock was cut and that the luggage was relocked with the Red cable.  In this case you should find proof of inspection inside your luggage in the form of a pamphlet or sticker from TSA. If you do not find any proof of Airport Security inspection, your luggage may have been pilfered. In this case go to the airline luggage counter and process your claim. Remember pilfering is a crime of opportunity. 2Lock makes your luggage a harder target.

Lost or delayed Luggage

In the event that your luggage has been lost or delayed, the airline agent will use our toll free number to report the position of your luggage. Use our toll free number to report your missing luggage. Once the airport reports your 2Lock serial number and the luggage is identified, we will take care of all arrangements required to delivering your luggage to your final destination.

Wallet CardIt is important that you write the serial numbers of each of your 2Locks on the back side of your Travel Card located inside the 2Lock package. This will ensure you that your luggage can be identified in case it is delayed, lost or stolen. Our customer assistance representatives will need this identification number to track delayed or lost luggage. The Travel Card also contains the toll free numbers needed to call in case of a travel emergency.
